Calgardup Cave
Unlike the other caves this one is self-guided and you are left to your own to explore (within the boundaries of the path) which is a lot more fun! Turning out the lights at the end of the cave was a surreal experience and I highly recommend trying it.It was affordable and cheap and the staff were lovely. Highly recommended if you are in the area before hitting the wine region!

I was lucky and got to visit the cave all by myself. At first, I was a bit anxious walking through absolute darkness with nothing but two torches but you'll get used to it and even appreciate it in the end. It's a new form of darkness and silence which I've never experienced before. Breathtaking. The signs are really informative. Also a big thanks to the employee who explained everything in a simple manner. Worth a visit! PS: It's pretty chilly so make sure to take a jacket with you.

A self guided tour cave. The ranger issued us with a LED lamp helmet and a LED torch and gave us a good over view of the cave prior to descending into the cave. The cave formations are ok. There is a 20 minute bushland walk with information notes provided and information labels on selected plants. Currently there are some orchids on the walk

There are many caves to visit in these parts. You really should explore at least one while in the area.

Never even knew it existed not as well known as the more popular caves but well worth a visit. You even get a helmet and light as its dark in the cave

Amazing. Fully self guided. We had it all to ourselves. Wonderful space. Incredible so far underground. Good walkways and information panels. Staff were informative and really interesting.

Unique experience! 30$ might seem a little bit expensive, but it's more than worth it! You get a helmet and a flashlight at the entrance, a quick safety instruction and there you go ...

Calgardup Cave
Beautiful small cave, easily accessible from stairs and boardwalks. Ranger gives you helmet with torch, and was nice to go at your own pace, look at the amazing stalagmites and stalagtites (not to mention the shawls etc). Some areas of the cave glittered with all the calcite and droplets. And fun to turn off the lights and be the complete darkness.
